One of the world's largest Mosques, the Badshahi Mosque was completed in 1676 and can accomodate 60,000 people in its main courtyard.

In 1991 the director of the mosque was severely criticised when the Princess of Wales visited and was presented with a copy of the Holy Quran, despite her skirt, which was deemed to short.

Hardline mullahs took the case to court and ended up with the mullahs being ordered to stop wasting the judge's time. The Islamic world could use a little more of that kind of common sense these days.
