Enjoying the morning sunshine
This Baluchistani family was all smiles as we drove through their village. We were always a little troubled by the conspicuous abscence of women. Occasionally, you'd catch a glimpse of them - faceless ghosts, hidden from the world.

While we have a great respect for Muslim custom, we doubt that keeping women shuttered away does much for social progress. But perhaps that's the point?
